After coming out of the gates strong in its debut year, iconic, multi award-winning band The Rubens have officially announced the highly anticipated return of their very own hometown festival ValleyWays, landing in Camden on Saturday 17 February.
Initially announced in 2021 as a thank you to their hometown of Camden and a celebration of more than 10 years as a band, The Rubens will once again return to the Onslow Oval for the second edition of the bespoke, one day festival, armed with yet another massive lineup of Australian acts.
Having just recently announced their return to the stage after four years, Australian alternative rock legends Grinspoon will be descending upon regional New South Wales to headline the 2023 event. Joining Grinspoon the 2023 edition of ValleyWays will be beloved indie-pop outfit Ball Park Music, Sydney-born indie-rock artist Ruby Fields, four-piece Australian-New Zealand group Coterie and the rich, soulful sounds of Srirachi.
Last, but far from least, the festivals creative minds The Rubens will also be taking the stage at ValleyWays, in celebration of their latest, new single ‘Good Mood’ as part of their Good Mood – Summer Australian Tour’.
With an ethos built around bringing the best music and creative talent to their own childhood backyards and building on an already growing live music culture in the Macarthur region, The Rubens’ ValleyWays will once again set its sights on more than just putting on a major live music event. Designed to be an annual celebration, the band will once again use ValleyWays to not only support and promote local talent, but to ensure live music and major events continue to prosper outside of major cities.
Presale for ValleyWays begins at 10:00am on Wednesday 25 October.
General Public tickets for ValleyWays go on sale at 10:00am on Thursday 26 October.
