The Vector and Horncastle Arena announced today that the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and Christchurch Symphony Orchestra will perform Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone™ as part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series. The Auckland Philharmonia will perform at the Vector Arena on July 2nd, 2017, and the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Horncastle Arena on July 5th, 2017. The concert will feature the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone™ . Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the orchestra perform John Williams’ unforgettable score.
