Snoop Dogg

SNOOP DOGG TOUR IS BACK ON!
PLUS THREE MASSIVE NEW SHOWS ADDED, WITH D12 & VERSATILE!

Second shows added in Sydney and Melbourne, plus a new date in Adelaide due to huge demand!

Finally, the wait is over and Californian Hip Hop icon Snoop Dogg has officially announced brand new dates for his massive upcoming tour down under, including adding extra shows in Sydney and Melbourne to meet overwhelming demand.

Kicking off in Perth at RAC Arena on 27 February 2023, Snoop Dogg will then head to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for two huge shows before performing two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, a massive show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before wrapping up the tour with a brand new show in Adelaide on March 08.

Snoop Dogg, who hasn’t performed in Australia since 2014 when he headlined the Big Day Out, will return to Australian shores in 2023 for his ‘I WANNA THANK ME’ tour, which will see the West Coast rap legend celebrate the release of his 17th album ‘I Wanna Thank Me’, and documentary of the same name, released in 2019.

While the ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ documentary celebrates 25 years of Snoop Dogg – a career that has seen the Doggfather cement his undisputed influence on music with chart-topping, multi-platinum records, while also solidifying his importance as a cultural icon, actor and businessman – the upcoming Australian tour will be all about the music!

Hailed by Rolling Stone as ‘America’s Most Lovable Pimp; a hip-hop star that has survived gangsta rap, charmed Hollywood and won over soccer moms – a hip-hop family man who’s evolved from consummate thug to ultimate mack’, Snoop Dogg remains one of the most important figures in music, almost three decades into his career.

He’s roasted Donald Trump on national television, baked brownies with Martha Stewart, co-headlined the Superbowl Half Time Show and collaborated with a list of celebrities that includes 2Pac, Pharrell Williams, Dr Dre, Eminem, Warren G, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and many more.

Despite immediately turning heads with his appearance on Dr. Dre’s iconic album The Chronic in 1992, few could have predicted the meteoric rise of the California local; 17 studio albums, 17 Grammy nominations and tens of millions of record sales, plus appearances in acclaimed movies and TV shows and his own burgeoning cannabis business.

From playing piano at his local baptist church in Long Beach, to becoming one of the world’s most recognised, revered and respected artists….and he’s not even close to retiring. Get ready for Snoop Dogg Australia!

James Smith ‘The C Word’

From two times number one Sunday Times bestselling author, James Smith, comes ‘The C Word’

The brand new live show experience to accompany the release of HOW TO BE CONFIDENT – the third instalment in James’ no-nonsense guides to gaining the tools to empower your decision-making and change your life.

Now, more than ever, we are so often lost within a cycle of negativity – from comparing ourselves to others and doom scrolling on social media, to a paralysis of choice and chasing external gratification that does nothing to nurture authentic happiness. We need confidence to master our true ambitions, realise our genuine strengths, and achieve the life we need, but might not know we want. Luckily, with his candid, no-nonsense advice, experience, and passion, James is here to lead the way.

James Smith said: My biggest live show ever is a eye opening experience into discovering what it takes, and what it means, to gain confidence and sheer audacity in the areas of life that count the most – but I’ll also be exposing and calling out misplaced confidence and destructive attitudes people may not even realise exist.

Drawing on research, expert advice, and my own experience, this is my favourite live show project to date.’

James Smith Business Mentorship Day

James Smith Business Mentorship Day

Learn the secrets of how to run a multimillion-dollar fitness business from one of the most popular coaches on the planet – IFS EVENTS

4 years ago, James Smith signed on the dotted line to begin his career working for Fitness First in the Sydney CBD as a personal trainer. Within 6 months he grew his following from 6,000 to 120,000 using some bizarrely simple tactics still not utilised today by personal trainers.

James Smith is back down under this March explaining exactly how he went from stressed, tired, underpaid and overworked to working only a handful of days from his laptop on the beach helping thousands instead of a dozen, he’ll be covering:

  • REAL social media strategy
  • Creating REAL business demand
  • How to earn $100,000 dollars a year without a platform, app or even a website
  • The big difference between building a following vs building a BRAND

There are many tricks to the trade that personal trainers don’t tell each other due to the fear of them winning over future business. Because James runs an entirely different model including book sales and events, he doesn’t mind disclosing every single one of them for one day only.

James will remind you that although these industries are saturated, they’re not competitive at all.

ValleyWays

Dear ValleyWays friends,

Following the recent announcement from the NSW government imposing restrictions on events that include dancing and singing, we have made the tough decision to postpone ValleyWays to September to ensure the event is delivered as it was originally envisioned.

For many years, we have dreamt of running ValleyWays in our hometown of Camden & we are devastated to have to postpone the event. With the current restrictions in place, we would not be able to put on an event to the standard we had intended, and we are unwilling to compromise on our offering for the artists & fans. Whilst disappointed to have to postpone the event, we are excited to have been able to secure a new date in September to bring this festival to our hometown & we look forward to seeing everyone there!

ValleyWays will now be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at Onslow Oval. The original lineup are all available to play which is also great news.

All tickets sold for the previous event will remain valid for the new date & we encourage all patrons to hold onto their tickets. Those that can’t make the new date can contact Ticketek directly for a full refund via the email received by all ticket purchasers today. Please lodge your refund request by February 4, 2022.

We can’t thank you enough for the enthusiasm and support for the event.

Stay safe & we look forward to seeing you later in the year.

———————————

Celebrating a decade of making music together, today The Rubens have announced ValleyWays, the band’s own festival in their hometown of Camden.

The festival will take place at Onslow Oval on Feb 19 & will see the five-piece band perform alongside a carefully curated line-up of Aussie artists.

After a career-defining 2021, which included the release of their #1 ARIA fourth album 0202, an AMP & ARIA Award nomination, accreditations for hits ‘Live In Life’ (triple platinum in AUS), ‘Masterpiece’ (gold in AUS and NZ), ‘Never Ever (feat. Sarah)’ (triple platinum in AUS) and selling over 23,000 tickets to their 0202 album tour despite the challenges faced by COVID, The Rubens massive 12 months that has just past, and even bigger 12 months ahead, is a testament to their 10-year career. 2022 will mark a decade since the release of the band’s debut album The Rubens, which went Platinum and ValleyWays will kick off a massive year on the road.

The ethos behind the festival is to bring the best musical and creative talent to the band’s backyard and build on the live music culture that exists in the Macarthur region by incubating local talent and providing them a platform to play in front of big audiences and learn from their peers. The band plan on hosting the event in their hometown on an annual basis.

Joining The Rubens are Aussie heavyweights Skegss, Middle Kids, Slowly Slowly, BLESSED, Stevan, Becca Hatch, Hollie Col, The Dardi Shades & Grace Amos.

The final spot on the line-up is up for grabs with triple j Unearthed giving one lucky artist/band the chance to join the ValleyWays line-up. Details of this will be announced in January 2022.

Next Exit Festival

‘NEXT EXIT FESTIVAL’ ANNOUNCES HUGE LINE-UP FOR INAUGURAL EVENT
Australia’s newest music festival celebrates local talent and highlights regional towns in its debut year!

ALL SHOWS SELLING FAST –   http://bit.ly/NEFonsale TICKETS ONLY $89+BF

NEXT EXIT Festival, the latest edition to the Australian festival circuit, has officially unveiled the line-up for its inaugural event today, jam packed with local Aussie talent.

The announcement also includes a pledge from the promoters to shine a light on not only Australian music but regional towns across New South Wales, ensuring that live music reaches fans outside of Australia’s capital cities during such a challenging time for the country.

Setting its sights on the road less travelled, NEXT EXIT Festival includes four new events that will take place in regional locations across NSW this May, with live music from psych-rock outfit Ocean Alley, Spacey Jane, which recently became the highest-ranking Australian artist of the Hottest 100, Northern Beaches four-piece Dear Seattle, NSW local Merci, Mercy and sister duo CLEWS.

Kicking off in Bicentennial Park in Tamworth on Friday 21 May, the full festival line-up will make its way around regional NSW, with additional shows in Port Macquarie, Gosford and Batemans Bay, before finishing up in the picturesque surrounds of the Mudgee Showgrounds in Mudgee.

NEXT EXIT, which takes place over two weekends in May, will place an emphasis on engaging local businesses to partake in the event, with a goal to drive economic activity, encourage regional tourism and highlight local tastemakers and artisans.

After only a scattering of shows in the last six months, most of them in capital cities, we are super excited to be touring with Next Exit Festival to four awesome spots across country and coastal New South Wales. Said Ocean Alley’s Mitch Galbraith.

We spend most of our time working and relaxing near the coast so we love playing in smaller cities anywhere near the water. We also get to take our show out west to Mudgee and Tamworth and we’re stoked to visit the states interior and have some good times with the folks there. These regional places are so much fun to tour because of the locals that are so welcoming and always up for a good old town blowout. Their support means we can keep coming back to play shows and festivals and give these awesome places the live music experience they deserve.

We pass so many ‘Next Exit’ signs on the highway and often drive past with only our destination in sight,” said MJR Presents’ Head Of Touring Australia, Scott Mesiti.

“The original concept for ‘NEXT EXIT’ Festival was to help bushfire-affected towns, regenerate tourism and hire as many local suppliers as possible. So much has happened since then but our aim remains the same. We have designed a safe festival that can be delivered under current restrictions and will employ many people from our industry who have sat on the sidelines for too long.

In late 2019 and early 2020, New South Wales was subject to some of the worst bushfires in Australian history. As of 28 January 2020, the fires in NSW had burnt 5.3 million hectares (6.7% of the State), including 2.7 million hectares in national parks (37% of the State’s national park estate), and were responsible for countless millions of dollars in damages to businesses.

NEXT EXIT Festival has been made possible by being a successful applicant of RISE funding, which will allow MJR Presents to deliver an affordable for regional communities across New South Wales in 2021.

Loud, crass and completely unapologetic; James Smith will change your life on his new tour which takes aim at toxic myths within our current ways of thinking and dismantles everything we think we know about the path to feeling fulfilled, being happy and going after success.

The world’s fastest-growing online author and personal trainer James Smith is back to expose the lies we’re made to believe living the “normal life” and to change the way you think about it.

Having grown up just outside of London England James, who has an international following, has announced that he’ll once again be hitting the road in Australia, to deliver another honest, unapologetic and outspoken, yet erudite, authentic and endlessly passionate talk about your future life, and his.

After a run of multiple sell out shows in cities around Australia in 2019, James Smith will take to huge indoor venues in 2021 to dismantle your current thoughts with hard-hitting home truths mixed with a significant dose of tough love on the way, he’s not here to solve your problems, but to reset your thought processes.

Smith, who has more than one million social media followers, said: “I’m incredibly excited to be hitting the road in Australia again. Not A Life Coach will hopefully bring a different perspective to how readers perceive their own mindset. In a world where people are so caught up with how they look they can often overlook how they feel, how they see the world, how they see success and how they judge their own progress. I will show people how to accomplish more, and how to have a different outlook on life with every chapter. From mental wealth, relationships and motivation, to uncovering why playing it safe by societies standards can be tremendously risky. I’m not your life coach, but I reckon I can change your life”.

The follow up to James Smith’s international number one bestseller ‘Not a Diet Book’, which hit number one on the Sunday Times bestseller list and sold more than 250,000 copies is also set to land in late 2020.

‘Not A Life Coach’ will cover everything from Self-worth, mental ‘wealth’ all the way to comfort zones and escapism, values, success, limiting beliefs and even relationships will also be covered in the book, providing readers with a sneak preview of what’s to come in James Smith’s upcoming live shows
